CALL-North Shore (Confronting Abuse in Later Life)

Confronting Abuse in Later Life (CALL)—North Shore. CALL-North Shore is a three-year initiative funded by the Office on Violence Against Women of the U.S. Department of Justice. Love Shouldn’t Hurt

Is someone…

  • Using your money without your permission?
  • Refusing to give you food, water, or other needs?
  • Touching you in ways that you don’t like?
  • Hitting, pushing, or shaking you?
  • Threatening, blaming, or making you feel afraid?
  • Taking away your medications?

Anyone Can Be Taken Advantage of Financially

Is someone…

  • Controlling your finances?
  • Forcing you to sign legal documents?
  • Pressuring you for money?
  • Living in your home without providing assistance?
  • Using your credit card or bank account without your permission?
  • Forging your name?
  • Threatening, blaming, or making you feel afraid?
  • Using your money on themselves instead of on your needs?
